Health Reform and the Health Safety Net Forum Materials Available
On July 9, 2010, Health & Medicine hosted a forum, “Health Reform and the Health Care Safety Net: Challenges and Opportunities,” to examine the ways in which federal health reform legislation will impact the health care safety net in Illinois. With 100 attendees, the forum explored the potential impacts of reform on community health centers, safety net hospitals, the health care workforce, and vulnerable populations.
