Who Are We Jailing? Summit on Disproportionate Minority Contact

Disproportionate Minority Contact (DMC) is generally defined as the phenomenon of Black and Latino youth coming in contact with the criminal justice system in far greater numbers than they represented in the general population.

To begin a deeper conversation about DMC and related social justice issues, Roosevelt University and Health & Medicine Policy Research Group hosted a summit on February 7, 2014 to share information and set an agenda for a new generation of advocates.
