Health & Medicine Policy Research Group is preparing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our Chicago Area Schweitzer Fellows Program and the 10th anniversary of our Fellows for Life alumni program. In recognition of these milestones, we are hosting a 20th anniversary conference on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 in Chicago--stay tuned for full details--to engage the community in sharing resources and knowledge relating to community-based work addressing health needs of undeserved communities.
The Fellowship seeks submissions for conference presentations from current Fellows, Fellows for Life, community-based organizations, researchers, and other stakeholders to present their work as it relates to serving the community and a dedication to a life of service. We are seeking proposals that relate to the following topic areas:
• Community Engagement & Outreach
• Sustaining Community-based Projects
• Priority Health Needs in Underserved Communities
• Addressing Institutional Racism and Health Inequity
