On April 25, 2011, Health & Medicine hosted a forum, “How Safety Net Institutions Can Best Leverage Federal and State Health Reform.” As Medicaid changes, including newly eligible people, mandatory integrated care, and potential cuts and block grants, the forum examined how safety net institutions could leverage the changes to ensure adequate access to quality health care.
