Our Programs: Health & Medicine’s programs are long standing initiatives administered by the Health & Medicine Policy Research Group. While each program may have its own specific constituency and agenda, they each support the overall Health and Medicine mission.

Our programs are funded largely through program-specific grants from Foundations. If you are an individual or represent a business or family foundation that would like to designate funding for specific programmatic activities, please visit the Individual or Planned Giving sections of our website.

Our Projects: Health & Medicine Policy Research Group initiates projects through a variety of mechanisms which may or may not derive from programs. These projects are time limited activities focused on a specific health related problem.

Our projects are funded largely through issue-specific grants from Foundations. On occasion, we have sought funding jointly with collaboration partners and welcome the opportunity to discuss donor designated underwriting of special projects.

Special Initiatives: From time to time, emergent issues, such as the Cook County Crisis, may require rapid response in a timeframe that places us outside traditional grant cycles. In these instances, we often seek discretionary funds, sponsorships and other nontraditional sources of funding.
