Health & Medicine has taken a leadership role in The Emergency Network to Save Cook County Health Services, a coalition of health policy experts; doctors, nurses and other health care workers; community organizations; labor unions; consumer advocates and other stakeholders. The network reflects a broad base of community support, uniting some 70 disparate organizations dedicated to a single goal: to reform and restore Cook County’s public health safety net.
