Over 160 stakeholders from across the 7-county northern Illinois region convened at the Regional Health Care Safety Net Summit on June 23rd, 2009, hosted by Health & Medicine Policy Research Group and the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
Participants were called to action to review and endorse a set of preliminary recommendations for the region and, as a unified community, call for political leadership to support further action.
