Overview

As our signature forum series, the Health & Medicine Forums for Justice in Health Policy examines issues of public health, health systems reform, and ensuring basic human rights and basic needs are met to advance health equity. The forum discussions regularly convene members of the general public including health advocates, organizers, researchers, providers, academics, and students to discuss complex health policy and practice issues.

Successful health reform requires a strong focus on the health of the public, and this series remains a go-to conversation for cross-sector health reform and social justice conversation. Frequently, the series involves discussions that cut across Health & Medicine project areas, such as public health and trauma-informed systems or workforce and long-term care.
