Health Equity Intern

Chicago Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Scholar

The AHEC Scholars program is designed for health professions students who are interested in supplementing their education with additional training in underserved and rural communities. As an AHEC Scholar, you will participate in interdisciplinary education and collaborate with peers from a variety of health disciplines to address health disparities.

Chicago Area Schweitzer Fellow

Become a Chicago Area Schweitzer Fellow and join a network of individuals committed to addressing health disparities in Chicago communities. This program is designed for graduate level health professions students. Fellows design and implement year-long projects that improve the health and well-being of disinvested populations, receiving mentorship and support throughout their fellowship.
