Health & Medicine Forum for Justice in Health Policy Series

Jan 13, 2022

Mark your calendar for the virtual Health & Medicine Forum for Justice in Health Policy 2022 series. Our first Forum will launch in February, and we will be sending out invitations soon. If you are not on our mailing list, please sign up here in order to receive invitations to all of our 2022 Forums.

This year’s Forum series will focus on a variety of health equity and health reform-related topics, including the impact COVID-19 has had on the health safety net, health workforce needs and solutions, and health system planning to develop the public health and healthcare delivery systems of the future. The series is centered on advancing health equity and the health of the public.

To sponsor one or more Forums this year, please reach out to Shannon Sweetnam, Director of Development, at ssweetnam@hmprgstage.wpengine.com for a brochure about sponsorship opportunities. We accept sponsorships all year long and look forward to partnering with you.

The Health & Medicine Forum for Justice in Health Policy series examines issues of health and health systems reform and health equity, exploring how Illinois can strengthen our healthcare safety net and expand and improve care for all. The forum discussions regularly convene health advocates, researchers, providers, academics, and students to discuss complex heath policy and practice issues. The Health & Medicine Forum for Justice in Health Policy helps advance health reform, safety net, and public health policy and practice to focus on health and healthcare as human rights. This series remains a go-to conversation for cross-sector health reform, social justice conversations, and debate about how to advance health equity.

Frequently, the series involves discussions that cut across Health & Medicine project areas, such as health reform and public health, or workforce and long-term care. An archive of past forums can be found here.
