Chicago Area Schweitzer Fellows Program Announces Named Fellowship Sponsorships Available for 2022-2023 Class

February 1, 2022

Looking for a meaningful way to support the next generation of aspiring health professionals? Consider sponsoring a Named Fellowship at the Health & Medicine’s Chicago Area Schweitzer Fellows Program.

For 25 years, the Chicago Area Schweitzer Fellows Program has provided a platform for graduate students to design and implement innovative projects that improve the health and well-being of underserved populations throughout Chicago. In collaboration with existing Chicagoland organizations, fellows use a broad public health lens to improve well-being and target the social determinants of health.

The Chicago Area Schweitzer Fellows Program is proud of our longstanding Named Fellowships recognizing the legacies and investments of Tarik F. Ibrahim MD, MS; Leslie Nickels, MEd, PhD; and Drs. Bob and Caryle Perlman, and encourage others to join in their commitment to supporting aspiring health professionals committed to improving the health and well-being of underserved communities and addressing health inequities throughout their professional careers.

For more information about establishing a Named Fellowship, please reach out to Shannon Sweetnam, Director of Development and Communications. ssweetnam@hmprgstage.wpengine.com.
