Speakers Bureau
Our Speakers Bureau links professionals representing diverse health professions to career seekers in order to inform, motivate, and empower students to pursue attainable health career goals. We have an ongoing partnership with the Chicago Public Schools and the Michael Reese Health Trust to connect speakers to students to learn more about health careers.

Community-Based Student Education
JOB SHADOWING
Chicago AHEC provides job shadowing opportunities in community based settings to high school sophomores and juniors. We are looking for individuals and organizations who are willing to participate in our job shadowing program. Chicago AHEC strives to provide individuals interested in the health profession with a comprehensive understanding of the health care workplace.
SERVICE LEARNING
Service Learning is a teaching and learning strategy that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities.
